PIO is the world’s first online treatment program for hyperhidrosis and erythrophobia and is:
- Your possible initial treatment.
- The option if you have “already tried everything”.
- Your chance with annoying compensatory sweating.
How is online treatment for hyperhidrosis or erythrophobia even possible?
- You will keep an online “impact diary”, which we will use to comprehensively assess your situation after a short time. We will treat you on this basis.
- We take into account all treatment options available according to the current state of scientific medical research. Depending on the course of treatment, this may or may not require a visit to us in Munich.
- We are in constant contact until you have reached your optimum treatment. Experience has shown that this will take some time, which is why PIO can only be booked on a bi-monthly basis.
PIO is an IGeL service, i.e. the public health insurance companies do not cover the costs. €186.36 / 2 months will be charged.
The PIO program accompanies you as long as you want and until you have found a good solution for yourself. Then you can end it “at the push of a button”. You will of course continue to receive prescriptions for your medication. We will send them directly to your insurance card or by post. And you can rejoin the PIO program at any time if you want to test further medications or options. A system that is always open for you and accompanies you as long as you need it.
